Product Screenshots
For easier implementation, we have prepared screenshots of the various set-up stages.
The screenshots are likely to change slightly over time, as the software changes and more and more new features are added or the interfaces change.
Therefore, please regard these screenshots as example screenshots only, which are not always changed immediately.

Setup & Installation (3 of 8)
The Deployment Center Server (DCS) is the method of accessing the SOFTKLIX software . For the SOFTKLIX software to be used on a given computer, access to the Deployment Center Server must be specified here. Once specified on this computer, the default is that the software simultaneously prepares and enables the Deployment Center Server (Broker and License Server) which enables all important parameters to be installed on this system. If, however, you want to use another computer for the Deployment Center Server, then simply enter the IP address or domain name of that alternative computer.
Setup & Installation (4 of 8)
Now select the role you want this computer to play. There are several options:
1. Your computer becomes the Deployment Center Server (Broker and License Server)
2. Your computer becomes the virtual application and desktop server (single and multi-user mode can be set and selected later).
3. Your computer is only prepared as a Windows Access Client.
Individual or all options, can be selected.

Deployment Center/Users (1 of 7)
All SOFTKLIX products are web-based. This also includes the Deployment Center Management Console. The Deployment Center management console enables access the maintenance of the SOFTKLIX IT platform from any web enabled hardware device. This is also true even if different operating systems are used e.g. Windows, Linux, MAC or Android etc. With the Deployment Center management console, you can get an instant SOFTKLIX infrastructure ‘overview’ to ensure that everything is structured correctly based on the intuitive navigation tools. To assist the administrator, there are no un-necessary complicated terms to contend with (unlike existing technologies), so ongoing management is very easy.
Deployment Center/Users (2 of 7)
Within the Deployment Center management console, at a glance, all Windows user profiles can be seen in one window. Here, the administrator can manipulate and filter many functions and features, as well as managing large numbers of user (1-1000’s+) and groups. In fact, SOFTKLIX significantly improves Microsoft Windows, because Windows does not have the ability to easily manage a wide range complex, as well as ‘non’ Windows IT infrastructures and environments. With SOFTKLIX you always get a ‘right-Klix’ help option ["?"] for any given function. Here the administrator will get an immediate explanation of the relevant function/tool.
Deployment Center/Users (3 of 7)
Each user has their or her individual settings e.g. assignment of virtual applications, type of virtualization, which application or group they belong etc. in line with their Windows user profile. Logically, as mentioned, users can also belong to groups. This is where user directories can be shared, and users can work as part of team. The administrator can also decide what levels of Security a user gets, and this will also determine what the user can and cannot do e.g. can a user be given ‘Admin-right’ in certain situations.
Deployment Center/Users (4 of 7)
An assignment to an application group has many advantages. For example, you can assign topic-related or server- or company-related applications to a group without having to perform 1,000’s mouse ‘Klix’ repeatedly. Once a group has been created, an administrator can easily allow any user to participate or simply lock them out. Everything is within seconds and in real time.
Deployment Center/Users (5 of 7)
Any user can also be set-up as an administrator. However, the administrator can also deactivate a user completely within seconds. This would immediately restrict a user’s ability to login. Assigning rights, such as maintaining a web workspace and user rights etc. is of course easy, but a very important to any administrator.
Deployment Center/Users (6 of 7)
The significant benefit of SOFTKLIX, is the ability to choose which 3-in-1 virtualization technology is best suited to a user’s needs. Not only that, but the choice can be changed at any time and there are no restrictions of use (even mix and match within any give environment). The corresponding servers only have to be set up and available once, and the administrator can choose between…
1.) Application Virtualization (Multi-User- the users sharing server resources)
2.) VDI Desktop virtualization (Multi-User - The users share server resources – like Terminal Server)
3.) VDI virtualization (Single-user – The user gets dedicated 1:1 server resources).
Having these 3 options means that it could not be easier, cheaper or a more convenient range of technology option. No other product in the world delivers such a variety of virtualization technology options and at no additional cost.

Web-Login (1 of 2)
All SOFTKLIX products are web-based. This enables the administrator to enable a user to access the SOFKLIX SOFTOFFICE/365 productivity applications from any end devices. This is also the case with different operating systems such as Windows, Linux, MAC or Android. It is also possible to deliver these applications via encrypted connections via SSL 128 bit tunneling.
Web-Workspace (2 of 2)
The ‘Web-Workspace’ (user interface) is the core of SOFTKLIX application virtualization technology. The ‘web-workspace’ replaces the traditional Windows Desktop as a traditional Windows desktop is easily ‘accessible’ by any administrator or even hackers. Unlike the SOFTKLIX ‘Web-Workspace’ where very little training or education is required, the Windows desktop can be difficult to manage (remotely) and is not particularly productive in most environments. With the SOFTKLIX ‘Web-Workspace’, the user can't move, change or delete any pre-determined setting. As the applications are static, the administrator does not need to make any compromises and ensures the most efficient use of user’s capabilities.
